After last summer of building a house and morning sickness and a crazy winter of snow and more snow, we were aching to get out camping. Our first camping trip was in March down in Sedona, which meant Caleb was only two months old. It went amazingly well and we had a lot of fun. Since then, we've done a lot of hiking and camping around Flagstaff and in the white mountains. Kenzie and Jenna look forward to it every time. The last time we went, Kenzie actually helped pack...she ran around getting camping clothes, hats, and whatever else she could think of to take.

Sleeping in a tent is the highlight of the trip. It's the first order of business on Kenzie's docket when we get there and they're usually begging to go to bed before it gets dark. (if only they'd do that at home!)
Jenna's awake! And yes, she always wakes up this happy and usually exclaims in surprise "it got light!"

Jenna thinks that she is a "big girl", little does she know that being in the 3 percentile makes her anything but big. She still tries to carry her brother around whenever she can get away with it.
Swimming is always one of the things the girls look forward to. Of course it consists of dipping their toes in the water and running away "freezing". Then they sit and watch daddy jump off cliffs and everyone has a good time.
